My Sierra Towers............ sort of
I've had these NHT B5 bass units sitting around for awhile
and the other day decided to see what the Sierra's would look like sitting on top of them........
Kind of cool, don't you think?

Here's another picture for your enjoyment
If anybody is wondering the NHT B5 bass units are active.
In addition to the B5 bass modules I also have the associcated electronics
(2 - A1 amps & an X-1 crossover) to go with the bass modules.
Still experimenting with settings and such.....
but it sounds pretty darn good

Excuse my impatience, but where are these speakers?!?!
I just sold some equipment, including my sub, in anticipation of the new towers and a rythmik sub. The lack of music around my house is maddening. I almost impulse bought a 2.1 set of computer speakers this weekend to avoid having to listen to the "music" channels on my television's built in speakers any longer. I hope the Tower release announcement is imminent
We have been telling people to expect the first limited quantity batch to be ready towards the end of the first quarter 2011. We have a HUGE shipment of drivers arriving in about 2-3 weeks (2000 pcs) and we are finishing up packaging requirements for the towers this week (boxes, inserts etc.).
The only delay at this point is the finishing of the cabinets themselves and this is due to some new environmental laws here in California that prevent us from using certain finish materials. Sadly I am becoming more and more frustrated in trying to actually build a product here in the states -- far too many new regulations resulting in lost jobs If we were using MDF as opposed to Bamboo, this would not be a problem but our supplier is quickly learning that Bamboo can not be finished the same way.
We are working through the problems though and the solution thus far is something really great. We are actually having a famous guitar assembly factory handle the final finishing. If all goes as planned, the finishing should not only be stunning, but quite durable.
Here is a pic of piano black. Ignore the protective plastic wrap. I hope this keeps you satisfied for a little while

Does one need to be on a preorder list for the first run? If so put me on there !

Bunch of speakers
Wow that looks great! Boy do I wish I could fit towers in my setup.
Just a shame what this country is doing with all the regulations, your correct about how it makes manufacturing it very difficult if not impossible in some cases. I'm sure your margins are really tight compared to the same product coming out of China.

Dave, can u give us a range as how much would it cost the towers?
thx
