    Default Speaker crossover

I have a Denon 790 and LFM-1 Plus sub. Anyone had experience with either of these with the Sierras? Audyssey says to set the crossover on my fronts and center to 80hz, however I think I have read where some Sierra owners perfer 60hz, even wth a nice sub for HT. Thoughts?

It is all about your environment. What is good for one situation is not good for others.

For instance, I used to have a Hsu VTF-3.3 subwoofer. It used to integrate fine with my CMT-340SE's when crossed at 60-80hz. When I got Sierras, the integration was never seamless to me when crossed at 80hz, but it did sound better at 60hz, still not great. When I got a Rythmik, the integration is great at 60 and 80hz...so I tend to keep it at 80hz.

So, play around with it, and see where you like it best. Although there are some generalities, everyone's situation is unique.
