Has anyone heard Ascends with tubes?

There are some speaker companies that actually tweak their speakers if a tube amp is to be used. I don't have any idea if this is just done for snob appeal or if there is some substance to it. I'd be interested to hear Dave F's take on it. Why not email him and let us know what he has to say.

well ill find out how ascends sound with tubes, sooner or later. now that i found out that audio advisor sells the tube amp i was looking at, im coming really close to taking the plunge and ordering the amp. i just need to save up a little more cash. i look forward to hearing my ascends pushed by tubes, and will report back to you with my results. and id still like to here from ascend on the matter at hand?
