Here's a recommendation if you enjoy discovering really unusual stuff:

Only 4 tracks but I'm digging it!

Just upgraded to the LXs from the Sierra-2s this afternoon. Going through my first run of sides:

McCoy Tyner - The Real McCoy; side 1
Joe Farrell - Moon Germs; side 2
Metallica - Black Album; side 2
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon; side 1
Fela Ransome Kuti and the Africa 70 - Confusion; sides 1 & 2

Hoo, these rip right out of the box

Got the latest album from Alison Goldfrapp, and it is excellent. Highly recommend if you like techno/dance melodic music. You need to listen to this on speakers with good bass capabilities (it sounds terrible on phone or iPad speaker obviously)I discovered her over 20 years ago, keeps putting out great stuff.

And now for something completely different...

Luna Duo V2 LR, Titan Horizon V2, and Rythmik L22 & L12 in HT, Sierra-LXs in study, S-2EXs and Duo V2 C in bedroom, S-1 NrTs in dining room, S-1s at work, HTM-200s in kitchen. Brother owns CMT-340s and dad has a pair of CBM-170s.

Nice, hard to categorize, but I like it. Clever video concept.

Dave, if you liked that, guessing you may also like Cannons. It’s my favorite current band. Little more mellow than Goldfrapp.

    The Warning.

I think of this band as flag-bearers for rock in Gen Z. They're about the same ages as my kids (ages 18-23). They are one of the best responses to the (incorrect) claim that rock is dead or dying. They are gifted musicians and talented performers, and all three of them sing.

This is a whole show—105 minutes—professionally shot in 4K with excellent sound (drums are really well-mic'd for people who care about that), not some random dude in the crowd with an iPhone.

    Well worth a watch!

Yeah, when I saw they were going to be doing this I wondered if they'd manage to get the audio right, and wow did they.

Good for you! They're definitely one of my favorites. I can't wait until the next time they come back to Houston, whenever that is...
