Which one? Ascend 170 SE or Totem Mite?

I was reading this thread and was hoping to gather some insight into this question.

Has anyone here had a chance to compare the Ascend 170 SEs with the Totem Mites?

So, if you had to put your money on a new 170 SE or a used Mite, which one would it be?

Do you have access to a pair of Mites? If so, try a pair of 170SE's and compare.

Nopes but am considering buy a used pair. But Ascend / DaveF seems like a solid alternative to the Totems. The soundstage and sound-to-dimension ratio of the Totems have impressed me big time.

I plan to upgrade to the Sierra-1s eventually, but since I'm currently in a small apt I need to get something that will suit a small living room.

I want speakers for a 2.0 setup (no subwoofer) and music (over movies) is my priority.
