    Thanks Jim.

I got very lucky with the stands. Back when the Sierra-1 was the only Sierra, another forum member and Sierra-1 owner was a woodshop teacher. He offered to make matching stands for the cost of materials and shipping.

There is also a matching center channel stand in the garage somewhere that I have never used. Each one of the L/R stands is filled with around 50 lbs of sand.

If it ever happens, a decision to change to speakers that don't work with the stands will be VERY difficult.

You already upgraded to -EX, right? If so, I expect you'll be happy for a long time. And if, not you still have one significant upgrade you can do to ensure you'll be happy for a very long time!

    Not yet.

Planning on buying a house with the GF later this year. So it is about not spending money (although I probably will) and wondering if 2EX's will have enough output (they more than likely will).

With this work from home stuff, I have been listening to my system more than ever. It's been the most enjoyable thing from this situation, along with no commute.

    Thank you!

I see you're in NW Pennsylvania? I grew up in western Pa. I went to high school in Dubois, lived in Reynoldsville.
