Just want to share my pedestrian set-up. CMT-340SE pair sitting on Emotiva 12-inch subwoofers. White wall serves as my screen for movies.

My living room is not really much to look at. But I can proudly say that with Ascend speakers in there, the sound inside that space certainly beats what I get from the local cinema.

Thanks for the help.

At first I felt I had boomy bass. But because of advice from forum members, I was able to smoothen my in-room bass with DSPeaker Anti-Mode 8033.

Now the sound is simply awesome.

I must say though, that I am really jealous of your set-up. Towers... RAALs... Horizon... Really is a fairy tale of an audio system. Except that it's for real.

Yeah, I feel very lucky to have this set up. I'm 55 and it has taken me a very long time to get to this point. Until recently, I always have had to compromise a lot on what I could afford for audio equipment. There's always more urgent needs for the money, you know? I have loved music my entire life and I'm finally totally satisfied with my system.

They are my old Axiom M80’s. I just moved them from the front to the back when I got the Ascends. They're great for surrounds, not so great for fronts.
