Default De Vore Fidelity Bammboo Loudspeakers

There is at least a superficial similarity to the Ascend Sierras in size and look.
Although not available yet. The expected cost for a pair is to be about $3,500.

Clarke Robinson actually posted a comment mentioning the Sierras in the second link.

$3500? That seems kind of nuts. Hey Dave...don't get any ideas!

This might be taking it too far, but I cannot help but think that he must have been aware, and possibly influenced by Dave's Sierra1 loudspeakers,
Also I feel the Sierras are a better looking speaker than the De Vores. Did you notice the front baffle of the De Vore is high gloss piano black?
Admittedly, I do hope other loudspeaker builders discover bamboo and begin to use this material for there cabinets, not just as a veneer, but for solid construction. The plus side to this could result in lower production cost for Dave. I guess we'll have to see what the future may bring.
As broadly recognized and praised as the Sierras have been I believe they deserve even more, but that is getting into marketing a topic I am not sure about Daves thoughts on this matter.
