Wow. 67 views to my first post on this forum, and no replies. Did I offend you all? If so my apologies. Just saying hello again.

    Hey Duckfan,

I'm a new Sierra owner myself. I'm definitely going to go through my classical collection again... if I can find the box (these are my first serious speakers). I didn't have too much trouble with speaker placement, but I also got a Rythmik subwoofer which required me to move my entire entertainment center and seats two feet off-center in order to get the Sierras to blend well with the sub... easier typed than done .

I'm going to go dig up my Mahler discs after I put the girls to bed.

Please excuse me as my daughter would like to bash on the keyboard .

Oh yeah... congratulations on the Sierras!

Red face Re: Greetings from Northern Virginia

Hello to you all and thanks for replying. I've really been enjoying the speakers for some time now and it's great to have fellow Ascend owners to exchange ideas with.

I will complete my review of the Sierra based on several different kinds of music by the end of the month and post my reaction on the review thread (but let me also point out that I don't have much experience putting my musical experience into words so keep your expectations low

However, the bottom line is: you know just how happy I am that there are companies like Ascend Acoustics making such amazing speakers at a very reasonable (in my view) price.

I look forward to more exchanges with you all in the future.

Welcome! I'm new around here myself, having just bought 3 Sierras last month. Been nursing a nasty case of ear infection (3 visits to a specialist) and then gone on a great trip celebrating our 50th anniversary. Just got back and can now listen to the wonderful sound of those Sierras. I've added an Epik Vanquish, a sealed cabinet sub, and am dialing it in. Wonderful, tight sound!
