I have a great room (part of the kitchen) with a plasma TV. I have been searching for on-wall speakers. Due to Spouse criteria they need to be on the wall and not obstruct the Plasma from oblique angles. This can be done if the 200 SE's can be mounted flush to the wall.
I believe they either sound inferior or cost too much. Then I was looking at the 200 SE's for the basement HT surrounds. Well today it dawned on me that the 200 SE's are pretty shallow and may work for an on-wall application. Has anyone tried this?
The speaker depth is not an issue. it seems to me the biggest problem will be getting them mounted in a flush to the wall ( securely and level) fashion.
Also, How far from the TV would you mount them?
