Sierra-1 MDF Cabinet Model?

I guess this question would be for Dave. Have you ever thought about making a Sierra-1 MDF cabinet model? It would be for those people, including me, who don't want to spend as much money on the Sierra's and don't mind the look of the finish on other Ascend speakers. Would it lower the cost/price significantly, without hurting performance?

the bamboo plays a major part in the performance of the sierra-1, and is not there only for looks. an mdf cabinet would be significantly cheaper, i imagine, but would not perform at the same level.
