Default looking for a good 5 channel amp for the sierras

    Hello,

Currently my sierras run off my b&K ref 200.3 amp. I would like to get a 5 channel amp instead to power the surrounds too. I like the current amp and inquired about a 5 ch version on audiogon but an offer had been made.
Anyone have suggestions for a 5 ch amp around 150-200wpc probably used between $1000-$1300? I dont want to take a step down at all either

    Thanks guys,

    Brandon

Are you out of space? Otherwise you could just add in a 2 channel amp.

Have a look at ATI as well as Outlaw.

    Also the used market.

The emotiva fits the budget but I have heard mixed feelings on the customer service? I am not sure if I would be taking a step down from the B&K then?

The reason I cant add another 2 ch amp is space constraints.

    Curtis,

How do the ATI's & outlaws compare to the emotivas & etc?

    Thanks,
    Brandon

    Don't know....never owned an Emotiva.

ATI is a solid and reputable company, and builds some of Outlaw's amps.

Very happy Outlaw owner. I have their older model 770(200X7). Keep an eye on audiogon..

Audiocircle.com classified board, Trading Post, is another good one to watch.
