Default is 18 gage wire ok for surrounds?

    Hi everyone,
I’m waiting on my Ascents to arrive and meanwhile trying to prep the wiring. I currently have 18 gage wires in the wall for the surrounds. The left is around 38 feet and the right is 48 feet from the wall connection point. Is it going to work ok with my 170s surrounds? Should I consider upgrading to a thicker wire (16, 14, 12)? What would be the best wire gage for my fronts and the center (340SEs)?
    Thank you.

Here are a couple of links for speaker wire gauge guides:

Ascend has some nice wire on the accessories page.
