    Hi All,

    I just got back from a week long Alaskan cruise...had a great time.

    I am still uploading pictures.....but here is one for the board. I will post a link to the rest of them when I am done uploading.

    my parents are leaving for alaska tomorrow. they're really excited.

    also, your hat is in much better condition than mine. i've beaten it up pretty well already, and it's made a couple trips through the wash...

    Nice Shots Curtis!

    Were the waters teaming with salmon? This is the time of year for them, also great bald eagle and whale pics.

    We did see some salmon...but not a lot. Apparently, others did see more in different areas.

    The good bald eagle shots were easy. They were taken at a salmon hatchery/eagle rescue. I was not more than 20 feet from the eagles. The not so good eagle shots were from the whale watching trip....at least a few hundred yards away.

    We were also lucky with the Humpback whale pics. We saw them during an co-operative feeding behavior called "bubble net feeding" that is not a common sight. The weather also happenned to be great that day!
