    Default Sierras and Dynaudios

    Hey guys,

First time poster. I am interested in the Sierras, but would like to know people's opinions on them as compared to the Dynaudio Focus series. I have a real sensitivity to bright treble and almost will run out of a room if I hear speakers that are too bright. Not because of a personal taste, but because it actually does hurt. Ok , I know that sounds weird, but it's true. Paradigms and certain lower Martin Logans tend to set this off. The dynaudios just sound articulate, yet laid back. I also tend to like B&W's, but they can sound somewhat lifeless sometimes to me. thanks for your time!

I recently heard the Dynaudio Focus 140 and B&W 805S's, along side of the Sierra at a dealer.

I agree about your assesment of the 140 being laid back. By comparison, the 805S sounded much more forward and brighter. If you wanted to categorize the Sierra, I would put it between these two as far as these characteristics are concerned.
