Agreed! Dave, you deserve a vacation with your family. You have brought what appears to be an industry-shaking product within reach of most of us. The audio world will be scrambling to compete with the Sierra on all levels. Competition is a wonderful thing!

I'd hate to order these and then want the next series.
I'd hate to wait and then get hit by a bus before a "-2" is announced!!

    Life's short.....enjoy it now!

What are the dimensions on these speakers? Or was that already posted? I thought I had read thoroughly, but I didn't see those specs anywhere. I'm thinking about ordering 3 and I need to make sure the L/R's will work with the pedestals on my stands, and that the center will fit in my tv stand. Is this info available?

    Default A Few Questions

    Dave,

I am very much looking forward to hearing the new Sierra's! Thanks for the thorough descriptions. I did not expect that these would be priced under a grand, even considering the cost-value ratio of your other speakers. I have a few questions:

Can the TP - 24 stands for the 340SE's be used with the Sierra?

What is the recommended hieght for stands?

Does the same return policy apply?

Any description of sound characteristics in comparison to 340Se's?

    Thanks,

    Jim

Dave posted this in the intro thread:

Exact same footprint as the 340 SE, but at 14.25" tall. 14.25" h x 7.5" w x 10.5" deep. Fits perfectly on the TP-24 stand. I feel the footprint of the speaker is perfect -- it actually appears to be smaller than a CBM-170 (but sounds even larger than a 340 SE)

I believe on the TP-24 stands the tweeter will be ~the same height as the 340S tweeter. The Sierra cabinet is ~2/3 the height of the 340.

Will there be bamboo and piano black TP-24s?

Wow, only the 1st pair?! I have called to order a pair too, supposed to get a call back in a few minutes... Actually, the guy on the other side (James?) said he was already doing another order (that was... hmm.. 5 minutes ago), maybe he was talking to you! hehe

Sign the back?! Actually... with a silver marker... Under the info plate, that would be cool I'd be up for it lol

Poor James.....he probably walked in with the phone ringing.

The signing of the back is a great idea...I have thought of that too, but guess you got the first pair. Need to get Dave one of those silver permanent markers.
