Yeah very heavy use of the surrounds in this movie and the soundtrack was quite a bit hotter than most. I enjoyed it even through some of its short comings.

To be honest, it only kept my attention because of Kate Beckinsdale, and the soundtrack.

I agree...watched this last night and it is definetly a must hear for 5.1 fanatics. The thing about the movie is that some of the acting was awesome and some was just atrocious. Camera work was good..but the stars are the soundtrack guys. Kate was good, and yeah, quite quite hot.
