    I've decided that it wasn't a redneck who did it;
    A. Like Curtis points out no place for beer.
    B. A redneck wouldn't do that with a perfectly good cooler.

Tubing the Guadalupe? I LOVED TUBING THE GUADALUPE! That stereo would have been kind of cool to do that with - I see the beauty in the design now.

    No, I'm not kidding!

A redneck might have did it. A TRUE redneck drinks a six-pack fast enough that a cooler is not needed. Anybody that needs a cooler is just a wanna-be redneck.

New Braunfels has really cracked down on behavior on the Guad. NBPD works the river all the time now. These days you'll get a ticket for any cooler that holds more than a 6-pack.

The Frio has always been my favorite place to go tubing but it isn't Mardi Gras on water everyday of the summer like the Guad. is.

    Default Carded on the Guad'

No more than a six pack? Good lord, we used to take cases...plural. Wow.

I got carded on the river once when I was there in 2004...

Officer (motoring up in his boat): Hello Son...
    Me: Uhhh...hello...
    Officer: .....
Me (hoisting my bud light in a greeting): ...officer.
Officer: What year did you graduate?
    Me: Huhwha......
    (pause...dumb look)
    Me: ...high school? or college??
    Officer (stunned look): Highschool.
Me (thinking crap! what year was that?): Ohhh! Highschool...ahh....'99.
    Officer: (thoughtful pause)
    Me: (sardonic look)
Officer: Have a nice trip down the river...

Hey, Jon. Maybe if ya bought real beer, ya might only need a six pack instead of a case of Dud light? After spending two years in Germany, I came back to the States and tried a Dud. Almost gave up beer.

Haha, oh I certainly agree. I don't usually drink that stuff - but that day on the river someone else had brought the beer. At least it wasn't Natty light right? ha!

Now some scotch...that would have made for a nice float...
