Default Show off your room here

I will start it off, here is my room.

340 classics across the front, 200s for surrounds and SVS PB-12 Plus. I use the XR-55 reciever, and a Marantz 4300 CDP. The cable box is HD and the DVD player is a 6 year old panasonic...waiting for the HD DVD BluRay war to end. My projector is a Optoma H31 witch is native 480p, but can recieve up to 1080i and I use a 90 inch DIY screen. HD looks VERY VERY good on this setup, people are always shocked by it. I also have some DIY bass traps in front of my room (orange) and above the side surrounds (black). The tan shades on the side of the screen are window shades. Some first reflection point treatment is in the future and posibly a BFD and some bass shakers for the coutch (though it shakes pretty good as is).

how did you decide to place the bass traps? what did you make them out of? I have a bunch of acoustic foam i bought awhile ago to soundproof a room. I was thinking about using some of that in my theatre room. Ive been researching placement of acoustic treatments and there is information out there but its super complicated and usually turns into a scientific description of sound waves.
