Default Recommendations for a 12.5x9.5 room?

I will be coming across money, but it really isn't crotch rocket type of weather in Minnesota right now. So I want to hit #2 on my list.

    99.99% HDT .01music
    Length-12.5
    Width-9.5
    Height-7.5

It's a given that the surrounds are HTM 200, but what you recommend for the front 3? I already have a HK 235 for the receiver.

Also a subwoofer recommendation would be nice.

I think CBM-170SE's for L/R, CMT-340SEc for center, and an STF-2 would do quite nice there.

An SVS PB-10nsd sub would be a bit more money, but since you are most HD watching, it would add a bit more low end extension for movies.

Another vote for what Curtis said.

Frankly, in a room that small, for "99.99% HDT", I think an all-HTM system with either of the mentioned subs would be terrific, and the HTMs are less bulky in a small room.

OTOH, if you have room for the CBMs/CMT, you won't regret taking Curtis's recommendation, especially if you later move to a larger room or start listening to more music, as many owners seem to do.

    Gary's right....Five HTM-200's would work well too.

For movies, the 200's will work fine but if there's room to properly place the 340C, the difference will not be subtle.

I'm looking forward to confirming that for myself at some point...

I like both GaryB and Curtis' recommendations. But, how might 4x 200s + 340c work?

I listen to music, but all my music is on my laptop/ipod and it's all 128kb and I imagine would sound pretty lousy on speakers like these.

I thought the front 3 were suppose to be the same Curtis?
