Hooked up my new (to me) amp today
I haven't had a chance to do much with it yet, but I now have an Outlaw 750 for power. I got a good deal on a used one in near perfect condition. Should be more than enough power for me for a long time.
I'm doing a bit of comparison between my H/K AVR-520 and Outlaw 950 as a pre/pro for the 750. My plan all along has been to sell the 950 (bought as a combo) so that I'll have an amp upgrade at a reasonable price. The 950 would have to be pretty compelling to keep since I think it's worth about twice as much at the 520 on the used market. And, I finally got my remote all tweaked out for the H/K.
It's a bit funny having an amp that's larger, and far heavier, than the receiver. I'm just glad I didn't drop the amp on my toes.
