As I told you, I bought the Ascend stands, filled them with sand, but was not aware that the sand was a little wet. About a month later the stands blew up. Later I saw the picture that Curtis included in this thread. It was exactly what I needed. I printed the picture and designed my own according to my space and needs. A friend of mine told me that he could do it. I bought the wood (almost $270 of native puertorican wood called in Spanish "capá blanco") and he made everything with my help. The wood is strong, heavy and beauty.

I felt a little worried because it is practically a copy of Curtis stuff. I had no idea of his reaction. Obviously I get his approval!
