CBM-170's for sale

Poor guy never opened the box and will never know what kind of performance he'll be missing.

I think I'd pay the extra 9% and get them factory direct. But I guess used 170s generally fetch $280-285. Does a 86% resale value beat out **** and B&W for retaining value?

Actually...he is a member here, abhi, he bought five CBM-170's. So maybe he decided on a different configuration.

He should be in his thirty day return and just pay to ship them back. I'm fairly sure David will give him a few days grace if he is keeping three of five.

curtis, quinn...i have been following your posts on HTF and bought my 5.1 CBM-170 setup based all HTF reviews. I am a proud owner of ascend setup without a trace of doubt..! I have used energy encore, dahlquist qx6s, merak speakers before. David is a great guy and he has helped me a great deal on deciding my setup.
I am eligible to get another DISCOUNTED pair and looking to sell it to someone who is interested.

I don't understand why would someone (other than ascend) have a problem, if I want to sell the speakers. I have sent an email to david and if it's a "no-no" from him, I won't go ahead with my plan.
