    Default burn in time?

how many hours for the ascends? they are sensitive so I don't think it needs that much. How long before turning up the volume on these babies?

I waited several minutes. I believe that was sufficient.

I haven't noticed any sort of breaking in with the speakers (or my HSU VTF-3) either. They sounded great out of the box.

    That's burn-in, NOT burn-up!

Great test of your warranty though...

    1) Turn on your system.
    2) Put on your favorite CD
    3) By the time the smile is from ear to ear your speakers are burned-in.

Seriously. Enjoy the speakers. The way I figured it, by the time I ran my test tones and configured my system, they had gotten all the 'burn-in' time they needed.

    cheers

I've played them pretty loud since day 1. They sound better now than they did before,..not sure if it's the speakers changing or my ears

I did run them at full range for a while to let them break in.
