AV123 used to make a woofer stand (8"), but discontinued it.

BESL makes a nice one, but it's passive and not cheap (once you add the cost of amps).

Lots of companies make two-part speakers that include a bass "stand", but they are generally a package deal and not sold stand-alone.

BTW: DaveF - let me know if you do plan on making a bass/sub stand in the near future so I don't run off and buy something else.

Just think of the money you would save on sand by filling the stand with subwoofer instead!

If you look at the cubic inch measurements of a HSU STF-1 sub you will find that the 340 stands are very close in volume. With a little work this could be a real thing, a nice powered stand for the 340!

I wish, for the web site-

    • The Ascend News section was kept up to date. Latest news is now almost 5 months old.

    • Professional Reviews section. Now almost 2 years old. All concerning the CBM-170 and 340c classic.

Any new potential customers are not going to pay much attention to Ascend with such stagnant content.

    Ditto.

I'm in the early stages of researching this. I also made a post in the sticky center channel thread and haven't seen a response.

I tried one of those out, and the only thing I could get to play was: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...Fencoding=UTF8
