    Default wall-mounting 170SEs - what angles?

I am wall-mounting my 170SEs with the Omni mounts Ascend offers. These will be about 6' off the ground (about 2.5' above listening level), and about 3' back on the wall behind the listening position (8' to LP when measured directly).

At this location, is it suggested to aim them straight at each other, or in slightly? Is this just personal preference?

In the past, my surrounds have been directly behind me facing forward. I like the way that sounded rather than to the direct sides because sound would actually come from behind.

Dolby recommends slightly in towards the listening area in a 5.1 setup. I assume this is for movies. If you listen to a lot of Multichannel music, you might want to aim them directly at you.

    Thanks.

I have them on the side walls, back a ways, and I eventually aimed them forward and down at the listening position.
