Question for Dave, MTM center?

I've heard a lot of reasons why MTM centers don't work well (mainly due to woofer interaction). I'm curious, what compensates for the MTM design of the 340SE center?

Thanks. I was sure Dave and his team had designed the MTM properly, but wasn't able to find any information on how. Note: they aren't necessarily misconceptions, they are problems - but they can certainly be compensated for (fixed), and the link addresses how - the lower crossover and the tight spacing of the drivers.
