    Default Question about HTM-200 Specs/Measurements

A question about the specs on the HTM-200:

The specs. indicate a +/- 3dB frequency range that extends down to around 80Hz or so. But looking at the provided measurements, at 80Hz it looks like you are about 10dB down from the peak (occuring at ~15kHz). From this spectral response graph it looks like the +/- 3dB range is more like 110Hz-20kHz. Why the seeming discrepency?

The specifications refer to "typical in-room response." The measurements are "quasi anechoic."

Actually, there are specs listed for both:

    Typical In-Room Frequency Response 74Hz - 20kHz +/- 3dB
    Frequency Response (Anechoic) 80Hz - 20kHz +/- 3dB

Doh. Reading more than the first line would have been helpful don't ya think?

So do we agree that by looking at the posted spectral response, one would infer that the lower 3db point is significantly higher than 80Hz? Maybe closer to 100Hz?

I'd infer this based on owning the 200's.
