Hdmi

My tv has one HDMI connecter. Is it better used for my sat box or should I connect my dvd player? I have a Sony XBR 960 tv and an oppo 971 dvd player.

Given that the Oppo is only known for good DVI output and it's analog outputs are reported to be noticably inferior, I would put the Oppo on HDMI.

Of course, the real answer is to try both items on different inputs and see which is most improved on HDMI with your own eyes.

Good answer. Just common sense. I guess I'm burned out trying to get all my parts together. I'm a newbie and I'm trying to get the most out of my system. Next up is which sub to buy.
