    Default Spiderman 3 in Cleveland!

Yes........the streets of downtown Cleveland have been transformed to replicate New York for the filming of some action sequences for the upcoming Spidey 3 movie! Crews have been here since last week and will wrap up this weekend. No principal actors are reported to be in town, but that's what the press is SAYING, so who knows?!

    Question

How did they transform Terminal Tower to look like the Empire State Building?

Bedford......to be precise! I've had my 170's since 2002, my Axiom QS-8's since last year and my Onix UFW-10 since last year. My Outlaw 1050 is now in it's 2nd owner's possesion in Georgia, replaced with an updated Denon AVR-885(2105).

The first two Spidey flix sound pretty good on the system, so the 3rd should be even better!

I (along with my 340's and rear 170's) live downtown, just a few blocks from where they're doing the filming. I took a look last Friday, but it wasn't that exciting to watch.

Default War of the Worlds 2005: Distorted sound

    Hi all.
In the regular wide-screen version of War of the Worlds (2005), I am getting a lot of distortion when the
alien walker makes its first sound after emerging from the road (Ch. 5, scene 6).
Anybody else notice this? makes no difference if its DTS or Dolby, or if its going through my 340's or 170's. Or what volume I play it at.
Thanks in advance for checking your DVD and seeing if you get the same thing!

    Default Cleveland

I was at the Cavs / Wizards game with my wife, with them losing I should have just stayed home and listened to my Ascends! I was nearly hoarse from screaming at the game so much... it was great being at a playoff game in Cleveland for a change!
