Whats up with the huge delay in updating to SE pics?

The first photographer they hired didn't work out, apparently, so they had to get a new one. David is definitely of the "if you're going to do it, do it right" philosophy. Plus, they really have their hands full with orders at the moment...

I 2nd what Sensibull said, except i have to up the ante on his quote. I think Dave thinks more along these lines. If its worth doing, its worth over doing.
I have had contact with Dave and photos are on the way, but he wont use anything below his standards, which he's rec'd to date.

The new 170 SE pics are excellent, and did you notice that clicking on each thumbnail brings up a higher-res version in a new window?
In fact, I will no longer be able to say that the speaker looks better "in person" than in photos... the pictured 170 SE has particularly clean and even "reveal lines", certainly a little better than mine. It would be great if all new production looks this good, although LeeLee's recent experience on AVS might suggest otherwise.
OTOH, I guess Dave F. really can't be blamed for hand-picking one of his prettiest "models" for the photo shoot.

Considering that is the only time I've seen that complaint in approx 4 years on various forums and Ascend has sold thousands of speakers in that time it makes you think.
The thumbnails as well as the new pictures are very nice.

Pretty good looking pics. I have to say that those photos give a much better sense of what the speaker looks like in person than the previous photos. Good choice on the photographer Dave!
