    Setting the speakers to large will not damage them.

    You can also set the crossover to whatever you would like, it is all your preference.

    Thanks Curtis! I am auditioning several center channels (I'll right a review of this later) and have always run them in small mode due to the limited frequency untill I got the 340. I thought that I would try it in large with my mains and it makes a difference. Fuller sound and more presence. Still not quite as good as my mains (Fried R4,s)but a nice sounding speaker!!. I have only had it for a few days and it has bested all the rest that I have tried.

    Do most people run them in small mode? Why if so?

    Gman,

    I run mine as small and crossover at 60hz. People set them to small so they can utilize the crossovers in thier receivers, some receivers have more crossover settings than others.
