Default 170 SE with Vintage tube gear?

I am looking for any impressions of how 170 SE would perform/sound on a Fisher 500B. Is anyone currently running their Ascends off tube gear? I am trying to make sure my Fisher 500 will have enough power to run them as they should be run. Also how does the "warm" tube sound fit with Ascends? Thanks in advance for the help.

I have a Melody SP3 integrated tube amp. I believe it is rated at 38 watts per channel. It is a very good match with the Ascends. Ascends are quite efficient so most tube gear will easily drive them.

Although it's not an all-tube setup, I'm running a pair of 170s (classics) with a Conrad-Johnson PV10A preamp and modded Adcom GFA-535 and they sound great.

Thanks for the replies. I am glad to hear the Ascends are efficient enough for use with 30 wpc tube gear. I will be placing my order today, can't wait to get them set up and give them a listen.
