All right --- I suppose it is time to close the contest and make the *first* announcement

Dina and I are happy to say that it will now be VERY doubtful that I will have a new engineer to dump my projects on.... more likely an attorney, doctor --- or nurse..

    Yup... its a GIRL

Those of you who won HATS --- please send me an email or PM with your contact info and a shipping address.

Oh... Dina and I were thrilled with the news but my 4 yr old son is in denial.. He says, "but daddy, girls are ugly"

Thanks for all of your support!!!

I share your pain. My oldest daughter went to her first prom. Before the big night I set the rules. It went like this... NO holding hands, NO sitting close to him in the car, NO slow dancing, NO eye to eye contact and definitely NO kissing and hugging! I kindly offered to explain the rules to her date...she quickly declined.

I will share the pain x 2, as I have identical twin girls. Headstrong. Cute. And already intent on driving their daddy insane
