Default 200s for my surrounds, or bi/dipoles?

Have a rectangular room (13.5'x18'). Watch mostly DVDs and TV, but some occasional music w/o headphones. Nothing at very loud volume.

Should I just stick to a normal 5.1 setup with 200s directed at my seating area for surrounds? They would be about 1-2 feet behind and to the side of the back of our heads when we sit on our sofa. Or should I get some di/bipole speakers to mount on the side walls?

I've always thought bipoles went the way of the dodo when discrete 5.1 came along. I guess everyone doesn't feel that way, because you can still buy dipoles. Cambridge soundworks makes some switchable surrounds that can be dipole or monopole, I think. A friend of mine has them and they sound great. I have no idea how they would integrate with Ascends.

If I were you, I'd just get some HTM-200s.
