    Default Amplifier Options

    Hello all, I currently drive my 340 mains with a Yamaha RX-v595a, 5.1 70 W/channel. I would like to increase my power to the 340's with a separate high quality amp and drive the center and surrounds with a middle of the road Yamaha or Denon A/V receiver. My current Yamaha does not have pre-amp outs, so I can not use it with another amp. Does anyone have a similar set up to what I am after? Product recommendations, A/V receiver and a 2 channel amp, would be helpful.

    I run my setup with a Yamaha HTR-5790 for processing and powering the surrounds. The front three 340's are each powered with an Outlaw M-200 Monoblock. Works great for me.

    I'm using my onkyo nr801 hooked up to an anthem mca-20 for the front two channels. Sounds pretty awesome to my ears. That amp definitely made a difference...
