    Default Beck "Odelay"

I've had this CD for years but have not listened to it recently. I played through several tracks last evening and was impressed with the quality of this recording. Even with 2 channel, sounds were very 3-dimensional and multi-channel-like. Lots of ear candy in this CD.

This is the CD with the "Mop dog" on the cover hurdling a pole!

    Default Beck's SEA CHANGE

The DVD-A of Sea Change - mixed by the 5.1 master, Elliott Scheiner - is one of the most immersive and incredible sounding DVD-A's I have... it is definitely MC demo material. Its not exactly the most uplifting music, but it certainly is fabulous sounding. I'll keep an eye out for Odelay.

Thanks. Will listen to my "Odelay" CD. BTW, how's "Guero" on DVD-audio. There seems to be a bunch of versions of this disc (imports, CD, etc), so I'm being careful to get the correct DVD-A version. Any impressions?

I've only seen Sea Change on DVD-A and SACD... but apparently Guero is available somewhere on DVD-A. But this person had a problem playing it on their Pioneer dvd player:
