340m's Toed in or straight ahead

Should be getting my 340m's in a day or 2.

I sit about 11-12 feet from TV, so figure 13ft or so from L/R mains.

I currently toe in my JBL E80's slightly towards my main listening position.

Is it recommended to toe in the Ascends (have the matching stands) towards my main seating position, or to fire them straight towards back wall.

I ask because of the legendary soundfield they are purported to have.

Experiment. I don't toe in my 340's but each situation is different. How far apart will the speakers be?

I would say 8-10 feet max.

This is a YMMV thing because I toe mine in and like the sound better that way. Just experiment and see what works for you. There's really not a wrong way to do it, IMO.

Conventional wisdom says "Toe 'em!"...but straight ahead is cool too!

Whatever DaveF says in his manual, I do...so toed in. Plus, the 340s with sand spiked through the carpet, isn't too easy to move now.
