    Default SPL meter.

    OK so if I go get one of those...then what do I do with it...

    Do I want all the speakers to read the same from the primary listening location?

    Yes...at least for starters. Some folks will tailor to their listening preferences from there...boosting the sub a touch or maybe the surrounds a touch.

    Some folks prefer different settings for movies and music on the sub and center channel. I run it two db hot on the CC for movies.
