    Default Studio 20's

Hello this is my first post. I have read on many occasions that the CBM-170's are as good as the Paradigm Studio 20's. There has been some mention that the 20's have better bass performance but for me I am not too concerned with that. What I want to know is how well they compare to the 20's besides bass extension. Feel free to elaborate and be as specific as you can. Just try to be as unbiased as you can due to subjectivity. I also need to mention that my preference is more on music than HT. Thank you
Tame the peaks, minimize the dips/nulls and ONLY then are YOU on YOUR way to bass nirvana!

The mids is were Ascend shines. The 170 mids are better in my opinion.

Take a look at Nicholas Mosher's in depth 170 review in the review forum. He directly compared the 170 to the Studio 20.

just got my 170's...think I should have gone with the 340's...but...

took them to the local Tweeter store to compare...the salesguy I have been working with was very impressed and then started to sell me a sub. (I assume he realized that the speaker sale was an impossibility at that point)

to the point of the BASS extention, that is odd you say that because I was impressed with how much Bass these things had....which is why I want to see the 340's...

so..back go the 170's and I am going to get some 340's instead with the 200's in the rear...
