I need to get a pair of small speakers for my rear wall. The CBM-170 and HTM-200 are to big. Does anyone know anything about Orbaudio Mod1's? How do you think they would sound with CMT-340 (LCR) CBM-170 surrounds?

I have heard them in my own home.....definitely not a timbre match. I did not like them.
That said, if you need something small, there are not many choices. Maybe try listening to the small KEF's with the concentric driver.
I would also recommend giving the Mirage Nanosat's a try. They aren't as cool looking as the Orb, but they still add something different than the usual box shape. I'm not sure how they will match with the Ascend's, but the nanosat should work pretty well as a rear speaker.
