Salk Song Tower in Bamboo. This tower uses bamboo plyboo. I don't believe is is the same quality as the Sierra V-LAM construction, but is beautifully done. Notice the cost at 10x the cost of 3/4" MDF.

The members on that board are all raving how great they look for 2 grand a pair. I think my sierra naturals look easily nicer than those, although they look well made and I'm sure the taller size adds to the cost. Apparently those people haven't seen DaveF's work.
Looks like very nice speaker. I like the base. Heard some good things about Salk.
Still, I"m just trilled about my Sierras. It's a great product and even better at the price.
