barenboim beethoven

Just picked up the DVD-A of this, Symphony #3 (all of Beethoven's symphonies are available from this series). It's on the TELDEC label. Just finished listening to it and was quite impressed. I also have Beethoven's 6th Symphony as recorded by the NJSO on AIX records. Can't really decide which recording I like better - though the AIX recording has more features including a video side in DTS or DD 5.1.

Anyway, my question is for anyone who may have heard DVD-A's from Barenboim and perhaps other labels (Telarc?) for Beethoven's Symphony's, and if so, which one is better.

As you can tell, I am a Beethoven fan and have been waiting for a very long time for some high quality recordings of his music, particularly the symphonies. I want to collect all of them (I also have the 9th on a CD but I want an SACD or DVD-A for that as well) and I would like to get the best available.
