I just got the L12 for Christmas and just got around to setting it up yesterday. I’ve been out of the loop since 2014 when I bought the Sierra Towers and center channel. I have a Onkyo TX-SR608 but I don’t know if I’m setting the subwoofer correctly thru the setup menu on the receiver.. Any help would be appreciated.
Have you run the auto setup(Audyssey)? That may set the speakers to large(full), in which case you'd want to manually set the sub to "Yes" and select a crossover setting for the speakers(Start with 80hz). Looks like it only goes 40hz then 80hz, etc.? Don't leave it set to Full/Large though as you won't be taking advantage of the sub.

I ran audyssey and I have set the speakers to small and 80 hz. It’s some of the other adjustments in the receivers menu and the back of the sub. Thanks again Magneato.
