Get the Sierra tower or the Sierra 2?
I cant afford to get the Tower with the ribbon upgrade that is with the horizon too.
I could swing buying the S-2 with the S-2 center.
I have a 20 x 20 room with a large opening in the rear.
Have a PB 2000 sub
Was told if I had a decent sub I could save buy not buying towers. In a different forum.
I found out also that It was not simple to upgrade the Horizon to a ribbon tweeter.
Just want To be sure that my fronts are won't be lacking from trying to save to much money.

If the answer was specific to the Sierra 2 vs Sierra Tower (RAAL), the two do not use the same drivers, the most significant difference being the dedicated midrange driver on the Tower. There are more differences than just the bass output of the two speakers
If it was more of general statement, then the bass output advantage a tower speaker has over a bookshelf can be mitigated with the use of a subwoofer.
