Wish you were here

I listened to this Pink Floyd CD tonight, 5 months to the day that my best friend (Dad) died. Fridays always wipe me out, the pain never seems to go away. But interestingly, my Dad 85 years young, really liked Pink Floyd. The day he died, all I could do was listen to Wish You Were Here (He really liked this cd). At reference levels tonight (-5 on my Denon 3805) with a JBL Urei pro amp, it sounded amazing. I had the extreme good fortune of seeing Floyd live for this and the Animals tours. My Ascends and my HSU research STF-3 brought me back to that time. Dave and all at Ascend, I wish to thank you. While sitting and listening tonight, I realized that for me, I had achieved audio nirvana. I'm sure there are better setups than mine out there, but I am completely happy with mine.
