I have read....and I can not confirm or deny this....that electrons travel on the surface of the wire, and because of this, stranded wire will have better conductivity because of more surface area.
IMO....you will not hear any performance differences.

We use twisted solid wire in the phone company for noise reasons.

Just received some Canare Star Quad to bi-wire my front three, but ordered the wrong size spades. They were too small, and I didn't check before I ordered. Oh, well.

For anyone not familiar with Parts Express Sound King wire, this is great stuff for doing long runs. It is very pliable. I run it into the basement along side the heating ducts to my surrounds. The actual distance is only 15 feet but by hiding the run of wire through the basement it is approx. 35 feet of wire to each speaker. The install would not have been as easy with most wire.

I agree, Sound King wire is good stuff...and economical to boot.
