What about upside down on a stand, if they are above ear level?
Re: Luna specifications and measurements
I have been revisiting specs on these and the Sierra 2s. Two aspects stand out to me. The flatness of the S2 frequency plot is truly amazing. But, then look at the CSDs of the two. Given the same tweeters, the Lunas cabinets are so "dead", that THEY are amazing.

That makes sense to put them upside down on a stand if they are above ear level. But I'm not sure why you would want them on stands that tall. That seems very precarious for expensive speakers.

Would you ever think about doing a nrt version of the luna?

Yes, we can do this now actually. The plan for the Luna is to offer versions with dome and ribbon. We have just ordered a ton of bamboo (literally) -- hopefully this batch of bamboo will cover of us for a while.

This is great news, would be very interested in the Nrt version.
