This is really disturbing. Sorry to hear you were robbed!
This is the second post I've read about someone losing their
gear in a home robbery. (The other post was at HTF.)
This points up the necessity of documenting all your gear for
insurance purposes (photos, copies of receipts, SN's, everything)
and finding out in advance what your insurance co. is actually
prepared to reimburse you for should this happen.
I hope all you lost was some gear, and that you (and yours) are
safe.
Unfortunately, my next HT purchase is going to be a second set of
locks for the doors and probably an alarm system as well. Fun.

p.s.- I'm in the Phoenix area. If I happen to see your stuff, I'll
let you know...

nope. i've been checking around town and nothing so far. i really doubt anything will turn up at this point. although ascends are easily recognizable to owners, unfortunately they probably look quite generic to anyone else (especially with the grills and stickers removed) so i doubt anyone but the few owners in phoenix would even think twice about them. luckily my insurance company is being very cool and fair about everything that was stolen (around 11k total) and i should be getting cashed out this week or early next week.
i guess i can look at the bright side: i get to buy ascends again and go through the joy that is setting up and calibrating my system which will include a new receiver and dvd player...i feel a denon 2105 or 2805 on the horizon [:)]
