Another Canuck

I'm new to the forum here, but not new to Ascend. A few years back I bought a pair of the original CBM-170's. I've received a great deal of listening pleasure from them. I actually never new how good they really were until fairly recently when I upgraded my amplification to a Vista Audio I84 EL84 tube amp. I almost decided not to upgrade my speakers. Almost.

I'm waiting on a pair of piano black Sierra 1's to arrive. I'm really looking forward to them. My 170's will have to take a step back to strictly TV/DVD detail. Hopefully they won't be too upset.

Welcome! Be sure to post your impressions of the Sierras once they arrive. I'm thinking of using Sierras in the front and 170's for surrounds. I'm always interested what folks think.
